This was something I wanted to post before, but I totally forgot until a post on The Slaughtered Lamb reminded me. I thought I'd put a few NES horror and sci-fi movie themed Roms up for your downloading pleasure. The file contains 11 games and a couple of emulators, in case you don't have one. Of the two I included I recommend Nester. The .rar file is very tiny (2MB) so I put them up on Sendspace. It's amazing to think of how much these games used to cost when they came out. I think Friday the 13th was $50 when I got it. You can fit, what, like a thousand games on a blank DVD.
And click on the link above, he's got the 2600 Halloween game there. Looks like fun!
The Games:
Addams Family
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Frankenstein
Friday the 13th
Gremlins 2
Jaws
Nightmare on Elm Street
Predator
Robocop vs. Terminator
The Terminator
The Terminator 2
Friday the 13th was actually the very first Nintendo game I got. I never really liked it before, but I was just playing it and it's actually pretty fun. I mean it's not like cancel your plans and call out sick for work fun, but it's fun enough. Don't remember zombie women crawling out of the ground quite so much in the movie though.
Robocop vs. Terminator - what, you never saw the movie Robocop vs. Terminator? Where were you? While I'm talking Terminator, The Terminator 2 game is just spot on. Who could forget the longhaired sword weilding albinos from the film?

so once the game sare loaded, how do you even "Press Start Button", as the Friday the 13th game asks you to do immediately?
what do you do for controls?
Sorry, I meant to put instructions on the post. I know with Nester you just go to Options, then Controllers. If you don't have a gamepad, it should have certain keys set for each button. Like the arrow keys should be the directional buttons and I think Z and X work for the A and B buttons. You can also assign the buttons to whichever keys you prefer to use. I usually have Start set as either Enter or Space Bar, but I think the default is the S key. Hope that helps.
Excellent!!!! Great post - now I have something to do until 3 in the morning - although sleep would be good too.

Are there any good Horror-Games for the SNES? The graphics and sound effects of these little NES games are a little bit annoying ;)
BTW, here is the OST to "Slumber Party Massacre 2" you wanted, both "Wendesday Weekend"-Songs and the one they're singin in the car included and also the score to the first part:

Cool, thanks alot for that! I'm still working on my cheesy horror movie music compilation, so that Wednesday Week song will be going on there.
Zombies ate my Neighbors was a very cool SNES game, but I can't find where I have it at. I've got like 30 discs worth or random crap lying around, I'm sure it's on one of those.
Hey there! Love the blog...Is there any way you could re-post the games/emulator file again? It would be most appreciated. Thanks so much...
