Guess what? Even more random awesomeness from my main man over at Covered's Place. That's right, "main man". I tried for like 4 years to repopularize "jive turkey" as an expression but it just never really caught on outside of my ex-girlfriend who I actually caught using the phrase once or twice. I've given up on "jive turkey", but I'm fascinated by completely ridiculous and stupid slang expressions from decades ago, so "main man" is my new one. I figure if I, and the 20-30 people who actually read this total nonsense I write can refer to someone as their "main man" once a day for about 2 1/2 years, we should be good. It'll be a popular phrase once again.I can get sidetracked, can't I? Covered's Place has the music from the German, more or less silent film Tuvalu. For anyone who uses RateYourMusic to track their music collections, thanks to me Graham Collins' music from Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter now has a listing. I'm going to try and submit my Morgue compilation as an "Unauthorized/Bootleg" version. If that actually gets accepted I'll let you all know, so anyone who downloaded that can add it as well.

I've been trying to bring back "jive" as an adjective, but I, too, had poor results. Maybe I'll try again for the new year.
Yeah, new slang terms are just stupid, damn kids and their MTV. We need to bring back the classics. Between me and you maybe we can get some more people using "jive".
