Kryst the Conqueror - Deliver Us From Evil

This is a pretty obscure, never officially released album I recently found. A band formed by Jerry Only and Doyle of The Misfits after their 83 break up. Here's the biography from the Kryst Fan Page, hope it's okay to quote it:

"In the aftermath of the Misfits break up in 1983, Jerry Only, then known as Mo The Great, and his brother Doyle formed Kryst The Conqueror in 1987. The band never had a lead singer and never toured. They hired Jeff Scott Soto (then of Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force) to do the vocals for their album. After Dr. Chud joined the band, Jerry and Doyle reformed The Misfits in 1995."

The album was never finished being produced so the sound quality isn't too great. But it's an interesting item for any Misfits fans to at least check out, or I guess anyone who likes Jeff Scott Soto's voice should check it out too. There's a petition on the fan site above to have this album produced and officially released, but judging by the interview with Jerry Only included with the songs, he doesn't really seem too worried about releasing it. I have found some reviews of the EP, but I have the whole LP here, no idea how hard this is to come across, but hopefully someone needs it still.

I've got a little request post going on here, I don't know how to make it stay at the top like I've seen on other sites. There's only a few posts on there, but if you've got anything you're looking for post a comment there and hopefully we can get the thing started up.

Did you find this as a vinyl, cassette, or cd? Also, is there any where to download this entire album? Or perhaps we could ftp it up some time? Ive been a Misfits fan for about 5 years now and I was looking through some stuff on the net and came across this and Id really like to get my hands on this music, even if its second hand MP3s. Thanks. [D]rew

A friend of mine made a CD-R copy for me, he didn't mention where he got it. If you copy and paste this link:
http://lix.in/cca264
it will take you to a Rapidshare link where you can download all the tracks listed on the post. I believe they have a few more songs, but I don't know if those are available anywhere

Thanks a million for that URL. This is totally awesome! The vocals are horrid and the "metal" sound isnt so hot, but you just cant get enough of classic Doyle and Jerry. Keep punk alive.
