Here is the music from Battle Royale. I believe this was requested a rather long time ago, I'm sure the requestee probably found it by now, but if not, here you go. Either way, as with most stuff I share with you guys, this one comes highly recommended. It's full of some really great and beautiful classical music. Mostly by Masamichi Amano, but there is some Bach and Schubert on here as well.
I remember really enjoying the film when I saw it. That was probably 4 years ago though, and I don't remember a whole lot about it. I remember Gogo from Kill Bill and Takeshi Kitano were in it. I also remember the movie being chock full of awesomeness, so I really think I should watch it again very soon. Dammit, I could've watched this last night and "forgot" to watch Beer League. Then I could've been reminded of how great Battle Royale is and not found out first hand that Beer League is kind of a piece of shit. Damn friends and their positive word of mouth.
The tracklist I have is a bit different from what I found on Soundtrack Collector. I think the person who originally ripped it might not have had a great grasp on the English language and used a translating site because the titles are almost correct, but missing words here and there or using synonyms for the words. For example, track 22 is Unpleasant Victory, but the track I've uploaded says Bitter Victory. Most of the tracks are like that. I didn't have time to correct it before I uploaded it, hopefully it's not a major problem for anyone. So here's the tracklist from Soundtrack Collector:

I feel like bitching for a minute about something totally unrelated. Delia's. Do not order a female friend anything from Delia's. I ordered my friend a sweater she wanted for Christmas. Little did I know of the forthcoming email terrorism. Those mother scratchers bombard me with emails every other day. Even worse, I'm getting these teenybopper aged girl clothing catalogs in the mail like some damn pervert. I am a pillar of the community, what will the neighbors think? Okay, maybe not so much a "pillar". Really I doubt I could give you the first name of 5 people who live on my street. Anyway, sure I could go to the site and probably remove myself from the mailing list or whatever, but screw that, why should I have to do work when they're the ones that suck? Now I know how Kramer felt during his Pottery Barn debacle. You go to hell Delia's, you go to hell and you die!
So yeah, good to get that off my chest, have fun with the soundtrack guys.

Thank you for this. I very much enjoyed the film, yet I remembered nothing of the soundtrack. Upon listening to it, it was a lot better than I expected it to be.
I would like to say, keep up the good work, it is appreciated.
Further, I would like to add that you seem like a really nice, decent person and I commend you for that. Having had a scroll through your old posts, I'd say that you have a good sense of humour and writing style. I also enjoyed your tangential (not tangenital, I checked) ramblings. Good stuff!

Hey chief!
I was the one who requested this gem, and I haven't had any luck finding it, so thanks again. Sorry I haven't popped in here much recently (the usual - work, GF, blah blah) and my apologies.

alex - yeah, I didn't remember the music really either, but I'm glad I found the score to remind me. Thanks a lot for what you said about my writing and me. I'm very self conscious about any writing or artwork that I do, even if it's just nonsense I'm writing on a post here, so I'm happy to hear that at least a few people enjoy reading what I write. I think when I'm writing them I forget that something that takes ten minutes to write only takes like a minute to actually read, so I worry that people will get annoyed having to read a bunch before they get to the music. I think that adds to the self conscious thing a lot. Anyway, thanks a lot for the kind words.
Neal - Hey, I forgot it was you who had requested this one. Sorry it took me so long for me to find it, hope you weren't going through withdrawals without it or anything. Good to hear from you again, don't worry, I totally understand how work can suck the life out of you and take up all your free time.
