Album Cover of the Year

Here it is, my vote for Album Cover of the Year, 3 Headed Monster's self-titled debut. In my opinion this cover is more badass than anything that badassed before it. Okay, that's overdoing it a bit, but it is my favorite cover this year. Anyone have a cover they think tops it?

In addition to having a great cover the band is actually quite good. Not a case of a shitty band hiding behind great artwork here. I recommend checking the album out, one of the few completely instrumental metal bands out there, at least that I know about. You can hear a few of their metalriffic songs right here.

I'd think it was cooler if it didn't use the T-Rex from JURASSIC PARK for at least one head.

Not bad but personally I think the cover for Lizzy Borden's soon-to-be-released "Appointment with Death" (Oct. 30) blows it away.

Check it out here

bryan - Hey, that Lizzy Borden cover is really cool, not as good as their Menace to Society cover though;). The sample on the link you provided actually sounds really good too, I'll have to check this album out next week.

like the cover too, but...

What's the deal with the lower head looking up at 3HM? It almost looks like it's the monster's fourth head. It's probably some bitch-ass One-headed monster that stepped to 3HM and got his ass handed to him. Or her.rfqlbr

anyone that has songs about the ultimate warrior is ok in my book, but for true instrumental metal greatness and possibly the best band name ever check out "The Fucking Champs"
