Jimmy Lifton - Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror. The film stars Karen Black, Yvonne De Carlo, a strange little chick by the name of Rainbow Harvest and one f'ed up mirror. Thinking of this movie makes me long for the days of the gimmicky VHS covers of the 1980s and early 90s. I must've passed by the Mirror Mirror cover and it's little evil hologram mirror a thousand times as kid. And who can forget the copy of The Dead Pit with the light-up eyes? Sure the lights never worked after the first week because people pressed the hell out of them and usually caved the box in doing so, but still, it's a very cool concept.

Just a heads up for anyone interested in owning the film, the out of print Mirror Mirror 1-4 box set can usually be had new for about $5 plus shipping from Amazon Marketplace. Sure, the first film is pretty mediocre and I've heard nothing good regarding parts 2-4, but still, the first movie by itself goes for about $35 on the very same marketplace. Good deal if you need the whole set for some reason. I just purchased one myself.

CREEPY - The Mummy Returns to the Superbowl Gridiron!

Okay, finally getting these up on Wednesday again, albeit a bit later than usual. I'm sick for the second time in a month, so I spent most of my day laying on the floor, or the couch, or wherever I was able to get comfortable. Anway, feeling a bit better now, so here they are. This set of CREEPY includes #86, 87, 88, 90, 92, and 93. Sorry, I don't have 89 or 91.

Sharebee wasn't being very cooperative today, after I got the first part up on there it wouldn't let me upload anything else. So the first part is on Sharebee, and the others are on Rapidshare. Those of you without Rapidshare accounts, download part 4 first, it's only 6 MB, so the download wait should be less if you grab that one first.

EERIE - The New Age of Illustrated Epic Adventure

Okay, here's a new batch of EERIE, this set includes #114, 116, 117, 122, 128, 132 and 139. I meant to have this up on Wednesday but it turns out I had a lot more moving related crap to do around the house than I thought so I didn't get around to it. But here they are now, only several days late.

Like I mentioned before I'm very close to being out of EERIE issues to post, I've only got one more post worth left, that's why there are a lot of gaps in between issues. I'm still on the hunt for more though and they'll be here if I find them. Plenty more CREEPY though.

The links will say "EERIE 03 09", but don't mind that, I wasn't paying attention and I put 03 for March instead of 04 for April.

Simon Bowell - Deliria (Stagefright)

Okay, and we're back. I am now reporting to you from the new headquarters located in North Carolina. So far things are going smoothly, I've been here for 3 days and I already do a pretty remarkable impression of the Mayor. I'm not sure that will ever come in handy, but you never know. So, since I'm kind of set up I should be back to a more regular posting schedule.

So for my first post in my new state, here is Simon Boswell's music from the 1987 film Deliria (released by Anchor Bay under the title of Stagefright). The film was directed by the great Michele Soavi and George "Thirty Two" Eastman is credited as the writer. If you're wondering, yes, this is the movie with the guy killing people while wearing a big-ass Owl mask. That might sound like I'm mocking it, but I actually rather enjoy this one and find it to be a pretty excellent slasher film. Definitely check it out if you haven't already.

CREEPY - Monsters! Aliens! Demons! Zombie Dead! - Now With 16% More Esteban Maroto!

Okay, it's not technically Wednesday yet, but what the hell, it's a holiday, right? Here are 6 more issues of the creepiest magazine that ever crept CREEPY. This set includes #80, 81, 82, 83, 84, and 85. In that order.

Not only do these issues contain an array of Monsters, Aliens, Demons and Zombie Dead, (and some kind of weird naked skydiving unicorn man with no penis), I believe that's a special appearance by the Nilbogian goblin army seen in the hit film Troll 2 on the cover of number 83, if I'm not mistaken.

Just a heads up, number 80 might pop up an .nfo file when you open it, but the issue should be find once you close that down. Split over 3 files, you need all 3 to read the comics:

Part 3

This could be the last post before my move I mentioned before. I'm not sure exactly which day I'm going, so there could be time for more post, but there might not be. But, either way, once I get set up down there I should be back in action pretty quickly.

Pity the Fool's

Just stopping in to say Happy April Fool's Day, if that's even a day you're supposed to say "happy" before. A day best spent not going to any sites on the internet due to the massive amount of fake news stories and other lame tricks played on people by their favorite sites. For example, one of my favorite torrent sites has intentionally made the screen a bunch of garish, horrible blinding colors - you can't even read anything on there. That's not funny. Because of this I'm starting a boycott on any kind of internet April Fool's jokes, so you guys will not have any fake "I'm shutting down the site" type things today. But I will have some comics up once I get home from work tonight, so be sure to check back soon. Maybe a slightly pre-Wednesday Warren Wednesday. Also, while I'm here I wanted to say sorry for missing last Wednesday, packing is a pretty terrible, time consuming chore.
