Manhunter - Music From the Motion Picture Soundtrack

I had a request for this recently, this is the soundtrack from Michael Mann's 1986 film Manhunter.

This is actually kind of a double soundtrack post. I have included a rip of the LP release as well as something I found called the "Definitive Version". From what I could tell the definitive version has dialog and additional pieces of the film's score added onto the songs. The LP runs a little over 40 minutes and the definitive version is 79 minutes. So I don't really know which one would be more sought after I figured I would just include both.

LP Tracklist
Prime Movers - Strong As I Am (04:34)
Shriekback - Coelocanth (04:16)
Shriekback - This Big Hush (06:12)
Michel Rubini - Graham's Theme (03:58)
Shriekback - Evaporation (03:18)
Red 7 - Heartbeat (03:51)
The Reds - Lector's Cell (01:46)
The Reds - Leed's House (04:30)
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

Definitive Tracklist
01 - Michel Rubini - Introductory Montage
02 - Michel Rubini - Graham & Crawford-Leed’s House-A Taste For It
03 - Michel Rubini - Freeze-Graham & Lecter-Lecter’s Cell
04 - Michel Rubini - Avid Fan-Evaporation-Lecter’s Message-Seiun
05 - Michel Rubini - The Red Dragon-Coelocanth-Loundes’ Testament
06 - Shriekba - This Big Hush
07 - Michel Rubini - As God Is-Strong As I Am
08 - Michel Rubini - Waiting-Graham’s Theme
09 - Iro - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
10 - Heart - I’m Will Graham

It's just you and me now, sport...

Awesome stuff. I haven't forgotten about Bogus Journey - just need to find it! Once I've sorted it out for ya, I'll download this lot.

I'm feeling like a little bit of a pig, but I just had to ask? Is there any chance that you might have the OST for the "John Carpenter" movie "Christine"?
I've looked everywhere for anything, but just haven't had any luck.

Well, another quiet Sunday! Hope your's is going well :)

Thanks to "Anonymous"!
Well, hopefully everyone had a decent Monday!

I'm off to kick back in my favorite easy-chair with a glass of Brandy, and enjoy a little music!

Thanks again!

Hey there, just me the big dummy!
Although I absolutely, really, really appreciated the "Christine" OST, I was actually hoping for the music?
I know that it had "George Thorogood" doing "Bad to the bone" and some classic fifties tunes on it, but I'm not sure which one's anymore.

You gotta hate getting old! :)

But anyway, if there's any chance, well yeah, I'd be ever so grateful, yet again!

All the best

Oh bugger. Somewhere (and I could have sworn it was here, but I didn't find it when you first mentioned it) I got someone's homemade compilation of the Carpenter score as well as the songs, with its own custom "cover" - I went through my history links and only found that one so assumed that was it.

I'll have another look - but perhaps not right now.

Right - this one is everything, score AND songs - thrty-something tracks (including ABBA).

Will have a quick peek see if I can find just the songs - but even if I can, I might just recommend the above link anyway (for it's the only one which will feature ABBA.

It's ganked from someone else's blog but I have no connection to THIS blog so have no qualms about posting this link here.

Nah - 'tis beyond my powers. I recommend downloading that last combined one. It's probably a higher bit rate than the one you already d/led.

See, not every internet Anonymous is a drive-by insulter.

Thanks for the download! And thanks for (anon #2) for not being "a drive by insulter." :)

I've been priveleged so far, not to have experienced too many unpleasant folks online. I guess that I should count my blessings :)

Have a great night and thanks again!
