Stephen Edwards - Hellraiser: Hellseeker

This is Stephen Edward's music from the 6th enry in the Hellraiser series, 2002's Hellseeker. You know what, I actually really enjoyed Hellseeker. I think if I had to put them in order of preference, I'd say
  1. Hellbound
  2. Hellraiser
  3. Hellseeker
  4. Hell On Earth
  5. Hellworld
  6. Bloodline
  7. Inferno
I've left Deader off because that's the one that I haven't gotten around to seeing yet.

Edwards isn't a composer that's really too well known, although he has worked on around 80 films - mostly low-budget action sequels like Project Shadowchaser II and Bloodsport II and III. The last movie he worked on that's been released (he has 4 projects in the works) was Feast III, which apart from one hilarious Rambo III bit has to be one of the worst things I've ever seen. An absolute mess of a film in every possible way; killing off the wrong characters at the wrong time, monster rape, 5 minute long fight scene lit with a strobe-light, more monster rape, a ninja, and a Transformer...I love current Vice President Clu Gulager to death, but his son has got to get his shit together before he directs another movie. Monster rape is NOT FUNNY, no matter how many times you see it.

Sorry to go on a rant there. Feast III has nothing to do with anything, but I had nothing more important to say about Hellseeker and had to get that out there. This seemed like the place. I haven't hated a sequel to a movie I actually liked so much since last year's Return To Sleepaway Camp.

Moving on. Credit for this goes out to JC Harris who was kind enough to upload and post links to this, and a few other things that'll be posted here soon. here is your tracklist:

Hellbound is your favourite? I've always found it a tiny bit too daft for my liking.

Frankly I'm impressed with your perseverence. I could barely sit through Inferno and haven't been back to the franchise since.

i enjoyed bloodlines, for the only reason it gave some depth to pinhead and the box and they went back to the basics that was messed up in hell on earth. it was hollywood throwing money at it and destroying the raw feel of the first two films. mixed feelings about the later films, except the last film where it was be more entertaining of them...

I really liked Hellseeker because it brought back Kristy Cotton from Hellraiser 1 and 2 ( and her brief showing in Hellraiser 3.. I was a great feeling to see Kristy and Pinhead interact in a very important scene in this movie. If you have tiome, watch the deleted scenes on the Hellseeker Disc. The meeting between Pinhead and Kristy is alot longer and was cut for some odd reason on the finala cut. They should have kept the whole scene in because ppinhead touches on all the subjects from 1 and 2.

Deader is actually worth a watch.I liked it better than Inferno. And Bloodline, for me ,sucked because I had read the Books of The Damned companion vol 3 ,which told an entirely different and more compelling story of the box's origins.

And if you like Hellraiser,go to my comic blog.Under the Epic heading,I have all issues of every series.Interesting one in there was Harrowers, who were people who went inside the box to save people from hell.

You kiddin' me? Inferno is my favorite Hellraiser and it's definitely the one with the smartest plot, though I know it's a bit off-topic for this series.

Anyway, thanks for the score, though I gave up on Hellraiser after watching Hellseeker.
My personal order of preference:
5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 > 6 > 7 and 8 I haven't seen.
