This is a semi-complete soundtrack from Electric Dreams. Starring the lovely and talented Virginia Madsen, and directed by Steve Barron (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles AND Coneheads). The official soundtrack only has 10 of the 20 or so tracks that are featured in the film. I've tracked down 5 more of the tracks to make it a bit more complete. It's still missing the classical pieces because finding specific classical music can be kind of a challenge given the countless recordings and re-recordings out there. I'm also missing Phil Collins' You Can't Hurry Love, but I doubt many will be too upset over the omission.
I had a request for this in the comments of the last post. Actually there was just a mention of it, but since I have the soundtrack, here it is. Chris (not me) wants to hear The Duel again, he's gonna hear it dammit.

Ah, yes - Let it Run by Jeff Lynne, the Noel Gallagher of his day. This is a corker, constructed entirely of lifts from I Hear You Knockin', Joe Walsh's Life's Been Good, the electric guitar thunderstorm bit of Hergest Ridge by Mike Oldfield and much of the late 50s output of Chuck Berry.
Class.
And and thanks for The Duel!
Thank you.
Why has this film never been released on DVD????
I saw it sooo many years ago but can not find it now. The film itself was OK, but the music was tops.
Thanks again for the post.
