Gung Ho!

This is the soundtrack from the 1986 Ronathan Howard film Gung Ho - starring Betelgeuse, Donger and The Jesus. If only we could've had the three of them in character, this could've been the greatest movie in the world. Ever. (Yes, I do realize this came out before two of the characters even existed. Still.)

Update: I found this on a Russian forum, but I'm told to credit this to The Inferno Music Vault and Phaota. My mistake.

01. The Pretenders - Don't Get Me Wrong
02. Thomas Newman - Coming Home (Instrumental)
03. Thomas Newman - Heading To Work (Instrumental)
04. The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Tuff Enuff
05. Thomas Newman - Baseball Boogie (Instrumental)
06. Thomas Newman - Family Stress (Instrumental)
07. Thomas Newman - Working Hard (Instrumental)
08. Five Star - Can't Wait Another Minute
09. Thomas Newman - Running For It (Instrumental)
10. Twisted Sister - We're Not Gonna Take It
11. Thomas Newman - Talking In The Park (Instrumental)
12. Thomas Newman - Building Cars (Instrumental)
13. Martha Walsh - Breakin' The Ice (Movie Version)
14. Thomas Newman - Counting Cars (Instrumental)
15. Jimmy Barnes - Working Class Man

This might be my favorite Ron Howard movies (which isn't really saying much.) Pair Keaton and Howard in a film and I'm there. Hanks and Howard? Not so much.

Nice of you to post this, but it would be appropriate to credit Inferno Music Vault as the original source as that is where it came from and myself as the creator since I put it together some time ago. You even used my cover art. Thanks.

Relax dude, I didn't find it on your site so how would I know to credit you? I found it on a Russian forum, with no credit given to anyone.

Doesn't he chime in here every few months to take credit for some movie score? I mean, it's great that some one is compiling this stuff (because I visit his site frequently) but it's a little silly to get territorial over someone else's copyrighted material.

hello,

I don't wanna cause any trouble on here but I feel I should defend both my blog and my friend Phaota. but "The Creep" if you compiled a custom soundtrack or score or whatever wouldn't you want to be credited if someone else posted it on a different site than your own? I mean yeah Phaota isn't the original composer or artist but he put in the time to compile and make the finished soundtrack as enjoyable as humanly possible for the fan when it's completed. I've done some of my own custom soundtracks and dvd isolated score rips and i know it's not exactly a easy job. I don't think Phaota was trying to get territorial, he just wanted the credit he deserved in making this custom soundtrack. and again i know he wasn't the artist but Gung Ho never did receive a official soundtrack to my knowledge. It's only fair he gets acknowledged for his hard work. BTW The Inferno Music Vault is my blog not Phaota's, but Phaota is though a important part of my blog cause he helped make it IMO a successful blog. I hope you see where Phaota and I are coming from on these views presented in this message.

take care.
