There are only a handful of horror titles out today, starting with this one is already high on my list of best releases of 2014:

But when the friendly spirit develops a sudden taste for violent murder and demonic possession, Linda’s boyfriend (Todd Allen, Django Unchained) and her former lover (Stephen Nichols, House) must race to destroy the ferocious portal of the damned.

In World War II, Stalin created a top secret nerve gas, which went missing shortly after the Battle of Stalingrad. Over seventy years later, the horrific biochemical weapon resurfaces in modern day Bulgaria, turning the local inhabitants into frenzied mutants and causing the dead to rise from the grave. Amidst the chaos, US Special Forces Captain John McGahey (Paul Logan) and NATO Doctor Ana Bennett (Manal El-Feitury) must escape the infected zone before the Code Red alert is raised and everything is destroyed. Now it s survival at all costs...

Bonus Features: Making-of Featurette, WWII Uncut, Behind-the-Scenes & Outtakes.
VCI is also putting out a bunch of classic Mexican horror titles today; three Santos, an Aztec Mummy, and Batwoman, but I can't find any info on whether or not these have English subtitles. VCI's site only mentions Spanish audio, nothing about subtitles, which you'd think they'd mention if they were included, but nope. They can be found here for anyone interested in checking them out. If they do have English subtitles, please leave a comment here and let me know.

I love VCI, but their website is notoriously unreliable. Example: I wanted SANTA CLAUS in Spanish with English subs on DVD. Their website described that, I ordered it, but no English subs. They were kind enough to send me the English-language version to replace it and guess what? It has Spanish audio and English subs (which was not mentioned). Smart money sez, this one is not English-friendly.

Thankfully their customer service is very, very nice !
