Adolescent Amputees and Razor Blade Face Slashing - New York Ripper Photobustas

Here are some photobustas (Italian lobby cards if you couldn't guess) from Lucio Fulci's Lo squartatore di New York (New York Ripper). Anyone know of a font similar to what's on these? A good Giallo looking font is pretty hard to find.

Adult Swim Presents Metal Swim

I'm a couple of days late with this, but any metal fans out there might want to check out Adult Swim's Metal Swim compilation. It's actually a very solid collection of songs from bands like Skeletonwitch, Death Angel, Boris and 13 others. And unlike most of these free album downloads this one doesn't even require signing up for a mailing list or anything, just click the link and your download starts right up.

And while you're on the AS site, head over to the games section and play a little Death On Wheels. It's the most fun you'll ever have guiding Death through obstacles on a BMX bike.

Warning: Make sure your volume is down before visiting the page unless you want to be stuck frantically trying to turn your computer down at 1 in the morning when Death Angel suddenly starts blasting through your speakers.

Deeper Red

In the comments of the last post a visitor by the name of Abdul was kind enough to share links for missing Deep Red issues. The issues in question would be 3, 4, Deep Red Premiere 1, 2 and Deep Red Vol. 2 Issue 1, Deep Red 15th Anniversary Special and Deep Red Horror Handbook. Still with me?

Here are some of the covers, Including my personal favorite right below this text.

Each issue was posted with it's own link, so to save a bit of time I'll just add his whole post to the comments section of this post. So just check the comments for the links.

Deep Red - Issue 1,2,5,6 & 7

This is Deep Red magazine issues 1,2,5,6 & 7. These are the only issues I've found so far, but I'll add 3 and 4 if I find them. Credit to the original scanner.

As you've probably noticed I'm trying out a new layout/banner on the site. Not sure if I'll keep it this way or not. My laptop has a wide screen where my computer I've had since I started this site did not. So when viewing the site with my laptop there's about 2 inches on either side of wasted space. This new layout looks better on a widescreen display but when I checked it on my old computer it's pretty huge. Either way, I'll stick with Belial for the time being.

Kan Ishii - Yôsei Gorasu (Gorath)

This is from the 1962 Ishirô Honda film Yôsei Gorasu (Gorath) - presented in Toho-Scope! I actually wasn't familiar with this one when I got the score - I was initially drawn in by the cover's incredible badassery. So if you find yourself in the same situation, here's a theatrical trailer to get you familiarized.
