Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise Mini Soundtrack

For some reason there doesn't appear to be an actual soundtrack for this one. So I've made a little 5 track "mini" Revenge of the Nerds II soundtrack because I don't really have a whole lot going on today. I had ripped the Nerds "No On Fifteen" rap and the epic sounding Star Wars-style text scroll part so I figured I'd throw a few other tracks from the movie here as well. It only consists of 5 tracks, because while finding Devo and .38 Special songs couldn't be easier, finding songs from Larry Lee or Darryl Duncan, not so easy. However, these tracks are the only memorable songs featured in the movie anyway, so here they are.

While not as funny, or as good as the first Nerds, I still really enjoy this first sequel. I actually still have a copy of this movie from Errol's, which later became Blockbuster. Or was later bought out by Blockbuster, I'm not 100% sure really. The tape is 20 years old, and has some kind of white residue on the inside of the tape, which makes me afraid to even put it in a VCR, but Errol's had those really cool big-ass red boxes so I just can't get rid of it.

I was curious about something while rewatching the movie yesterday. I haven't watched Part III or Part IV from the box set yet, and I barely remember watching them years ago, but I noticed Julia Montgomery shows up as Betty Scolnick in III and IV. Yet, apart from a picture of her in Louis' suitcase she doesn't show up in Part II, and Lewis ends up awful friendly-like with Courtney Thorne-Smith's character Sunny. So did Lewis cheat on Betty with Sunny in Part II? Was she a freebie for him while he was away? Is this ever explained? Guess I'll be watching to find out.

01. The Epic Nerds II Text Scroll
02. Devo - Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
03. .38 Special - Back to Paradise
04. Pseudo Echo - Funky Town
05. Larry B. Scott and His Fellow Nerds - No On Fifteen

That's not what it says here, Senator Wormser!

Yeah I got confused too between parts 2 and 3 when sunny showed up in part 2 and him marrying betty in part 3. I liked sunny better though. Too bad he didn't end up marrying her in part three. She was much more nicer, smarter, and prettier than betty was.

  3. I agree, Sunny was better in many ways, except the ability to help create a plot for 3. I'm watching it right now and since Stan is still in love with Betty, it wouldn't have given him such a reason to be against Lewis, besides he is a nerd.

Ringostrack com also lists the tracks Call Me, Do Like I Do, Love Won't Listen, Nightlife, Overdrive, Rock of Gibraltar, Where Are They Now, and Row, row, row Your Boat (the less interesting songs).

They should've released a soundtrack like the original!
