April Fool's Day in October

Here's the music from one of my favorite slasher films, the 1986 Fred Walton film April Fool's Day, starring the lovely and talented Deborah Foreman and Thomas "Biff" Wilson. This soundtrack was originally posted on 7 Black Notes quite a while ago, and probably another site or two since he posted it, but I haven't seen it anywhere recently so here it is for those of you who haven't had a chance to get it yet.

1. Intro
2. Main Title
3. Choke And Dagger
4. Pier Pressure
5. All´s Well That Ends
6. Snakes Alive
7. Stab In The Dark
8. Hanging Around
9. The House
10. Trick Or Threat
11. Nan In Danger
12. Nightwatch
13. Sitting Duck
14. Night
15. Getting The Point
16. Little Miss Muffy

Were you aware that this blog was listed in recommended internet sites in the British national newspaper The Guardian yesterday?

  2. Really?? I was not aware of that. I don't suppose you have a copy that you could scan or know where I could find it, I'd really like to see it. I'm not, thanks for letting me know all the same, rather exciting to hear!

I've got a copy sitting next to me. I'll try to get my scanner working and scan it for you.

  4. If you could scan it (if the scanner works) I would greatly appreciate it. I tried looking it up on the Guardian site but I couldn't find anything so I'd love to see it.

  6. Great site! Maybe you don't do requests but the soundtrack to "Creepshow 2" is something I'd love to see on this page!

congratulations on the recommendation, your site's incredible, I have a soundtrack request, do you have the full soundtrack to Night Of The Comet?, the soundtrack not the score, if so could you please post it up for us, also if you have the score to revenge of the nerds, that would be great too, thanks

Hi again, I was wondering how come so many of the soundtrack blogs are dying out so quickly, either by not being updated, or shutting down completely, while other music genre's blogs(ie: metal, rap, rock etc..) are growing so fast, I noticed this as I was looking through the links on your site, kind of sad really. do you know why they are all shutting down?
    thanks,

  9. joakim - Hi, I have Creepshow, but sadly nothing from Creepshow 2. I'll keep an eye out for it for you though.

jon - Sorry, don't have Night of the Comet either. I think that's one of the absolute hardest soundtracks to come by. But I'll definitely post it here if I ever come across it.

As for the why so many soundtrack blogs shut down so quickly while other music blogs stay up for a long time, I'm not really sure. I guess a lot of people get bored with it, or maybe run out of new stuff to post and just call it quits. Also a lot of sites experience the deletion nazis, people who report links and have the files removed for their own reasons. But that happens with non-soundtrack music blogs too, so it's a bit of a mystery as to why it happens more to us soundtrack guys.
