Return of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: The Animated Series

And...I'm back. Back from my vacation which started with my car's A/C Compressor costing me $800 and ended with me getting a cold and coming home early. Good times. The memories, they'll last a lifetime. But enough pessimism from me, onto today's post.

I've actually gotten a couple of comments requesting more of the Killer Tomato cartoons, so here we go. This is episode 7-12 of the series. Again I've put them up on MegaUpload, so you can watch them directly from the site, or download them for a more convenient viewing experience.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: The Animated Series

After the success (?) of Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! – the second sequel in John Debello’s Killer Tomato series – John, acting as producer, set out to give the children of the world something they didn't even know they had always wanted. That something? Attack of the Killer Tomatoes in animated form.

AOTKT:TAS features the voice talent of Tomatoes regular John Astin and also Maurice LaMarche who you'll probably instantly reocognize as Chief Quimby from Inspector Gadget (Along with about 200 other things).

Below you will find links for 5 episodes of the animated series. The first two files are up on Rapidshare, the other three are on Megaupload. I tried putting all on Rapid, but I was having trouble uploading today, so I just used Mega. Let me know if the MegaUpload files don't work - I uploaded all 3 in about 5 minutes. I haven't used them in a while, but I certainly don't remember upload speeds anywhere near that fast. They also give you the option of just watching the episode directly on the site now too, not sure when that started. Anyway, let me know if any of you have trouble with those.

I’ve got most of the episodes, so if anyone wants some more I’m sure I could be swayed into posting more of them. I got these from a very awesome uploader over at MySpleen and I would be remiss if I didn't give them the proper credit for ripping and uploading these files originally.

It's the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

I promised there would be music from a film about murderous produce on a rampage, so here it is, the soundtrack from John De Bello's epic exercise in over the top goofiness Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! I personally prefer the first sequel Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (starring George Clooney!), but what the hell, this one is pretty fun too. Plus I don't think there are any soundtracks to any of the other Killer Tomatoes films. Although, if you're itching for some more KT music I do have the theme from Killer Tomatoes Eat France! on my Rollercoaster of Death compilation. And yes, all of the movies do have the exclamation point included in the titles, I'm not just doing that to be annoying.

This was a Best Buy exclusive CD that only came with the Special Collector's Edition DVD back when it was released back in 2003.

And since it is only 6 tracks (one of them being the worst song ever made) I thought I'd throw in a little bonus. That little bonus, a rom of the NES game Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Not a thrilling game really, it basically uses the Mario Brothers 1 run to the right and jump on things formula, but I thought it'd be a fun bonus. I've also included a couple Emulators so you can play the game in case you didn't have one already. Those of you who have been with me since the beginning probably remember my post of several horror themed NES games (actually a year ago from last Monday). I've actually acquired several hundred more NES and SEGA Genesis roms on my computer since then, so if there's any interest in me posting a bunch more just leave a comment and let me know.
