Waxwork Records is set to put out vinyl releases for Harry Manfredini's Friday the 13th and Chuck Cirino's Chopping Mall scores this summer, and they revealed the new cover art and some sample tracks over on Fangoria the other day. Read on below for more details and the sample tracks:
Friday the 13th features include liner notes from director Sean Cunningham and composer Harry Manfredini, a heavyweight tip-on-old-style gatefold jacket featuring full artwork by Jay Shaw, and a printed 12”x12” insert with artwork by Jacqui Oakley. Releases August 29th
Vinyl details include:
Camp Blood vinyl: Woodland Green and Brown haze with Blood Splatter
Crystal Lake vinyl: Deep Murky Green
Crystal Lake Blood Filled vinyl (limited to 100 units)
Chopping Mall packaging details include 180 gram fluorescent pink vinyl housed in a heavyweight tip on jacket with film laminate gloss finish. A limited run of 500 neon yellow with neon green haze variants will be available via Waxwork Records. Full package artwork including a 12” x 12” inserted art print has been created by Australian artist duo We Buy Your Kids. Chopping Mall will be out a month earlier than Friday the 13th, on July 29th.

Meteor Shit! Creepshow Vinyl Coming April 1st From Waxwork Records

WAXWORK RECORDS is thrilled to announce their next LP release to the 1982 horror anthology classic, CREEPSHOW. The film was directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King. The score was composed and performed by John Harrison (DAY OF THE DEAD, TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE). This definitive release of the film score has never before been released. The original master tapes of the CREEPSHOW film score were lost for over 30 years, but with the efforts of composer John Harrison and Waxwork Records, the tapes were located in the attic of Jeree Recording Studios in New Brighton, PA. The tapes remained in remarkable shape over the years and were re-mixed and re-mastered for vinyl. The CREEPSHOW score has never sounded this good. LP package details include:
Heavyweight casebound tip-on gatefold jacket with a satin coating Director essay from George A. Romero
Composer essay from John Harrison
A built-in booklet featuring production stills, artwork, and liner notes A satin coated 12×12 art print of The Creeper

Rosemary's Baby Vinyl Soundtrack Details
As I mentioned the other day Waxwork Records is putting out a vinyl soundtrack for Rosemary's Baby and they've just announced the full details and cover art for the release.
Rosemary’s Baby will be available on clear 180 gram vinyl.
Two very limited variants will be available: 500 randomly inserted units will be pressed onto 180 gram black and crystal clear center haze vinyl.
The first 200 customers will receive a very special super variant presented in a never-before created vinyl effect: An independently double colored / sided record. SIDE A features a baby blue marble and SIDE B features a deep blood red marble. This special variant is a solid 12″ LP and weighs in at 200 grams. This record is a first of it’s kind.
LP package details include audiophile-grade virgin vinyl housed in an old style heavyweight casebound tip-on gatefold jacket with satin finish and spot UV gloss. A satin finish art print featuring an extensive essay by artist Jay Shaw will be inserted into each package.
Jay Shaw’s tasteful and detailed cover art marks the first time Rosemary’s Baby artwork has been studio-approved since Stephen Frankfurt’s iconic 1968 film poster for the film.
