"Actor Corey Haim, who starred in “Lost Boys,” has died of an apparent overdose. The actor, 38, had a long history of substance abuse and once told Larry King of CNN that he would be a lifelong “chronic relapser.” According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, Haim died at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank.
The actor collapsed at the apartment he shared with his mother, Judy, around 1:30 a.m. and she called the paramedics. It is said that he had not been feeling well in recent days, exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Four prescription drug bottles were found in the home."

Although he had a long history of drug abuse, it's still a damn shame to see something like this happen...
Hopefully Corey Feldman does better. After a heart-breaking divorce in 2009 and custody battle over his five year old son, losing someone this close must be utterly devastating.
May angels guide Corey Haim into peace and watch over Corey Feldman in his time of need.
I have always had a sweet affection
for Corey Haim in "Lucas." Prayers
and thoughts to his mother.
Tragic as stupid.
Corey Haim now deserves peace, preventive attentions & cares too (too late). Dying lonely and without comeback is sad but not rare. So long vampire killer, your fresh and coolness smile never die.
