Science Team - From The Man Who Brought You The Taint

I mentioned some time ago that Drew Bolduc, director of The Taint, had started an Indiegogo campaign to help fund his next feature Science Team. Well, it looks like it paid off because the first screening of the film takes place next week in Philadelphia, and a brand new trailer hit last night and you can (and should) take a look at that below:

Head over to the official site for more details. Kill it!!!

Science Team Summary
Chip returns home to find his mother brutally murdered and a sessile space alien living in her house rent free. A somewhat xenophobic and bureaucratic government agency called Science Team is brought in to eliminate the extraterrestrial threat. Drama ensues. People die. Inner and extraterrestrial demons are engaged. Men in pink suits use cool-looking technology. Events culminate in a destructive orgy of violence as people's minds are literally blown out of their heads.

Filmed in Richmond, VA with the help of many talented local filmmakers and filmmakers from around the world, Science Team represents a landmark achievement in independent cinema that pushes micro-budget film-making to heights never before reached.

Science Team Now Officially A Thing - Check Out The Teaser Trailer Now

Science Team is the latest film from The Taint director Drew Bolduc. They had an Indiegogo campaign a few months ago and it looks like they were able to raise enough cash to get it finished. They've just posted a new teaser trailer on the site, which you can see below. The teaser is only about 20 seconds long, so it's pretty vague, but I did catch a glimpse of a wheelchair suicide and what appeared to be the pulsating flesh of some hellish alien creature. Sold.

If you're interested in becoming a member of the Science Team, too bad, it's not a real organization. However, you can fool people into thinking you belong to this fake organization by picking up one of two official Science Team t-shirts (or, fuck it, Drew's a cool dude, buy 'em both), they're on sale for $15 a piece now through the 23rd.
